Tiebreakers only go into effect if multiple teams are tied for one of the top 2 positions in a division after calculating the full season’s results based on the points system described above. 

• The first tiebreaker and most important tiebreaker is the number of wins. The team with the higher number of wins is rewarded with a place in a championship game.
• For example: Two teams finish the season tied for second place in a division with 15 points in the standings. Team A has a record of 5 wins and 3 losses (15 points). Team B has a record of 4 wins, 3 draws, and 1 loss (15 points). Team A advances to the championship game with the tiebreaker applied.

• The second tiebreaker is goal differential if teams have the same number of wins and the same number of points in the standings.
• Please note that the MAXIMUM goal difference that can be scored from any game during the season is +3. For example, if you win a match by a score of 9-3, you have a goal difference of +3 NOT +6. 
• Again, this tiebreaker is only applied if the first tiebreaker for total number of wins does not settle a tie in the standings.

• The third tiebreaker, if the first two listed above do not settle a tie, is: FEWEST GOALS ALLOWED. This is the grand total of goals conceded through the 8-game season for the tied teams. If Team A has allowed 15 goals and Team B has allowed 12 goals, then Team B would qualify through the third tiebreaker.
• This tiebreaker ONLY takes effect if the first two tiebreakers do not separate the tied teams.

• A FIFA-style shootout will be conducted between the teams if they are still tied after exhausting all three tiebreakers listed above.
