Outdoor Soccer
WCSA offers outdoor soccer in the fall and spring for ages U5–U19 (birth years 2021–2007). Boys and girls play on separate teams—no coed. Players are not required to participate in both the fall and spring seasons. Each season has a separate registration and teams are reset every fall regardless of player history. Players in the spring who participated the previous fall are placed back on their same fall team and reuse their fall uniforms. Age divisions U5–U8 receive participation trophies at the end of the season. The top two teams in age divisions U9-U19 participate in Championship Night (weather and time permitting) and receive champion or finalist medals.

Registration Closes: 1/20/26 11:59 p.m.
All registrations received after the deadline are considered late and will be placed on the waitlist. Play-Up requests will NOT be accepted after the registration deadline. There is no charge to be placed on the waitlist. There is no paper registration. You must register online. If you have forgotten your login information, please do not create another account. You will lose all of your player's history. Instead contact SportsConnect (866-258-3303) for help.
Teams are formed by the Volunteer Commissioners, NOT the coaches or by player history. Requests are reviewed and considered but never guaranteed. Please note that teams are reset every fall, regardless of previous rosters. The league does try to keep teams together from fall to spring, if the players register on time. Teams cannot go over roster size and are formed before knowing where practices will be held. Due to the size of organization and season dates, this process cannot be changed.

WCSA offers the opportunity to play up one birth year from a player's true age. Please refer to our Play Up Policy under the Parents tab for additional information. All players 18 and older are required to complete SafeSport training to be eligible to play. Information on how to complete SafeSport training is available under the Coaches tab.
After a comprehensive review and collaborative discussions, US Youth Soccer, AYSO, and US Club Soccer have agreed to adopt a unified age group player formation cycle that will run from August 1 to July 31, beginning with the 2026–2027 season. This change is intended to better align player groupings with school-grade peers, supporting a more consistent and developmentally appropriate experience for youth participants.
Practices
Our volunteer head coaches choose the day, time, and location of their practices. This information is not known until after teams have been formed. Practices may start up to two weeks before the first game. Teams may practice twice a week before the first game and then once a week after the first game. All coaches must complete and pass their risk management training before being assigned to a field. This training includes, but is not limited to, a background check, SafeSport certification, and CDC Concussion protocol training.
Please note: Field lights, size, and goals are not guaranteed for practices.
Make-Up Practices: Due to the number of teams, practice fields are booked back-to-back throughout the week. It is the Head Coaches’ choice if they decide to make up a practice and find an alternative practice location.
As of November 2024, Thompson Station fields have been permanently closed for the foreseeable future.
Games
All games are played at the Williamson County Soccer Complex at 1878 Downs Boulevard in Franklin. Games are played on Saturdays with the possibility of an occasional Monday or Tuesday night game. Beginning with the Spring 2025 season, the U19 Boys age division will also play on Saturdays with the possibility of an occasional Monday or Tuesday night game.
If an age division has an odd number of teams, each Saturday one team will have a bye and play their game on a weeknight. Saturday games are scheduled starting at 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Make-Up Games: The yearly calendar has make-up days built into the season. Make-up games or doubleheaders can be played during the week or on Saturdays.
